U.S.-Egypt Business Promotion Trip to Egypt June 7-9, 2011
The objective of the Business Promotion Trip is to demonstrate the commitment of American business to the long-term economic well being of Egypt. We plan to listen to a range of participants from government, business associations, established and emerging business leaders, youth groups, civil society, and academic leaders.
Member companies of the U.S.-Egypt Business Council (USEBC) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have operated in Egypt for over 100 years, employing Americans and Egyptians. Egypt has historically been a center of trade and learning, for not just the Middle East but the entire world. We recognize the challenges ahead in building a dynamic and comprehensive Egyptian economy that can create broad-based employment opportunities. The U.S. business community hopes to be a partner in that process.
