U.S.-Egypt Business Council

The U.S.-Egypt Business Council (USEBC) is the leading advocacy organization representing America’s top companies doing business in Egypt.

Launched on March 27, 1979 by President of the United States Jimmy Carter and President of Egypt Anwar Sadat at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the U.S.-Egypt Business Council (USEBC) has played a key role in strengthening the strategic and economic alliance between the two nations.

The Council is made up of senior executives of U.S. companies from every business sector that are major investors in Egypt.

In 2019, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce marked the 40th Anniversary of the Council’s founding, which we was celebrated with a series of events and substantive activities throughout the year, including a high-level gala dinner.

More than 40 Years of U.S.-Egypt Relations
